At Whiskers of Woodcote, I offer thoughtful, professional in-home feline care, dog walking, companion sits, and mobile holistic grooming, alongside care for other small pets. While my primary focus is on cats and feline welfare, I also provide personalised care for dogs and other small pets, always with the same calm, compassionate, welfare-led approach.

 

Every service is centred around one simple principle: your pet's welfare always comes first.

With experience caring for animals of different ages, temperaments, personalities, and needs, I take the time to understand each individual pet — their routine, preferences, personality, and what helps them feel safe and comfortable.

 

My approach is calm, patient, and guided by your pet. Whether your cat prefers quiet reassurance, gentle companionship, interactive play, enrichment, or a stress-free grooming experience, or your dog needs a stimulating walk, companionship, or some extra attention during the day, every visit is tailored to help them feel happy, secure, and relaxed in the familiarity of their own home.

Feline Care

Cats are at the heart of Whiskers of Woodcote. I understand that every cat is different, from shy and anxious cats who need a quiet, gentle approach to confident and high-energy cats who thrive on interaction and enrichment.

​

My in-home feline care is designed to provide more than simply the basics. Visits can include feeding, fresh water, litter care, medication where appropriate, play, enrichment, companionship, grooming, and plenty of individual attention. I take the time to notice changes in behaviour, appetite, toileting, and general wellbeing, helping to ensure your cat is genuinely cared for while you're away.

Dog Walking & Canine Care

Alongside my specialist feline services, I also offer dog walking and personalised canine care.

​

Whether your dog needs a stimulating walk, some companionship during the day, or a little extra attention while you're at work or away, care is tailored around their individual personality, energy levels, routine, and needs.

​

I believe dog walking should be about more than simply getting from A to B. Walks are an opportunity for exercise, enrichment, exploration, and positive interaction, with your dog's wellbeing and enjoyment at the centre.

Companion Sits

For pets who benefit from more company than a standard visit, I offer daytime and evening companion sits.

​

These are ideal for pets who enjoy having someone around, need reassurance, or simply don't like being left alone for long periods. Companion sits can include companionship, play, enrichment, feeding, routine care, and settling your pet in their own home.

​

Please note that I do not offer overnight stays. Companion sits are available during daytime and evening hours, allowing your pet to remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings without the disruption of moving to a different environment.

Holistic Mobile Grooming

Unlike traditional grooming, my holistic mobile grooming service focuses on creating a positive, low-stress experience while supporting your cat's physical and emotional wellbeing.

Grooming is always carried out at your cat's pace, using gentle handling and a welfare-led approach to minimise anxiety and build trust. The aim isn't simply to achieve a groomed coat, but to make the experience as comfortable and positive as possible for your cat.

Small Pet Care

Although felines are my primary focus, I also offer care for other small pets, with visits tailored to their individual routines and requirements.

I understand that every animal has different needs, and I take the time to follow your instructions carefully while providing gentle handling, companionship, feeding, cleaning, and appropriate enrichment.

More Than Just Pet Care

Every visit is focused on your pet's overall wellbeing, ensuring they are not simply looked after, but genuinely cared for while you're away.

I believe exceptional pet care goes beyond meeting basic needs. It means providing companionship, enrichment, comfort, exercise where appropriate, and recognising when something isn't quite right.

​

To provide the highest standard of care and make managing your pet's care as simple as possible, every client is registered on my secure client portal. This allows you to easily make bookings, update your pet's information, complete forms, view invoices, make payments, and securely store important details such as medical history, routines, feeding instructions, and emergency contacts.

​

Having everything in one place ensures I always have the information needed to provide safe, personalised care for your pet.

A Welfare-Led Approach

With almost two years' experience running my own independent cat rescue dedicated to stray and abandoned cats and kittens, I have gained invaluable hands-on experience with cats of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs.

​

Since starting in 2024, I have had the privilege of helping more than 200 cats and kittens, and animal welfare remains at the heart of everything I do.

​

While cats and feline welfare remain my primary focus, my aim is to provide the same thoughtful, individualised standard of care to every animal entrusted to me — whether that's a cat, dog, or small pet.

​
